New Medical Centre was constructed right next to the Olive Lane project. This project also suffered from access issues due to its location but was completed on time. Large, reinforced foundation layout was needed for this building. An existing medium pressure Gas main clashed with the foundation design- this posed multiple issues. The building itself covered a large section of the site and had an interface with the live and on-going Olive Lane job. Once the building was complete, this meant a really tight work area between existing live footpath and building. Car park to the back of the building along with a stepped tight footpath around the building. Also, multiple live services to the back of the building meant numerous Vac excavators where needed along with very carful digging practises.
