Construction of a medium sized unit complete with car park at the front and service yard & dock levellers at the back. The units location and size basically cut the project in half with very restricted access available through site once the steel frame was up. The land is an old tipping area which posed many challenges when excavating in certain areas due to contaminated ground and unexploded ordinance. Watching briefs were needed when excavating in the Service Yard area of site. Surrounding land was higher than our site level which posed problems during rainfall with excavations prone to flooding. Substantial drainage network and underground tanks which tied into the drainage network within the road nearby, which ATB constructed in 2023.
