Large waste transfer station which was the first of its kind to be self delivered jointly by ATB and Veolia. The site suffered from previous industry in this area not far from the River Trent in that it was contaminated with various chemicals and had existing services/pipes running throughout the site which posed many problems. Due to ground conditions, all structures needed to be built on concrete piles with large quantities of reinforcement. Large concrete Service Yard with retaining walls for road sweeper bays, weighbridges and several large structures for Carbon Filter and Chimney foundations.
